Komari, a girl burdened with the secret of her "Calamity Blossom" constitution, a peculiar trait that attracts supernatural beings (ayakashi) and brings misfortune to those around her. After a series of family tragedies, she leaves the countryside for the imperial capital. On her way to her new workplace, the Kagetuki household, she is greeted by its young master, Seika.
