Lilisha Polish, a "failed witch" who can only use recovery-type magic, has been chased away from her home and lives a simple but peaceful life with animals deep in the dark forests of an empire. However, when it is discovered that Lilisha's magic has the power to toughen up those she heals, she is hunted by the imperial army as a dangerous factor that threatens the empire.

Then Lilisha saves Edvard Baldwin, a knight from a neighboring country, from the verge of death. After being restored by Lilisha's power and regaining his strength, he asks for Lilitha's cooperation in order to save his homeland.
