When Jiyong Kim was a boy, his mother was murdered in front of him. The assailant was tried in a court of law but served a mere three and a half years because he “deeply regretted his actions.” Seventeen years later, Jiyong is the top student in the national police university. But on the weekends, he hunts down unrepentant, relapsing ex-convicts released by a justice system that has failed to protect the victims, taking justice into his own hands to make up for its shortcomings.
