Anxious about adjusting to country life and suddenly remembering that she drew a "Great Curse" fortune earlier this year, she decides to visit the island's Nekome Shrine to pray for better luck.

However, on her way back, she follows a path indicated by a shrine maiden—only to be assaulted by booby traps for some reason! Fleeing into a nearby building for safety, she encounters a "Cat"...

Thus begins the story of the strange "communal life" between a Gyaru and a Cat.
