I've worked on many heartwarming essay manga on the theme of "family." However, there's one character I've never featured in a work before: an older brother. He's been shut up in his family home for 30 years. And it was none other than myself who started his reclusion. While wanting nothing to do with his brother, he's tormented by guilt for abandoning his family in the dilapidated family home. This quietly vivid portrayal of the family issues between brothers that continue even after the loss of their parents.
