Nara, the ancient capital of Japan. Deer and people are getting married today.

The people of the deer association take care of the 1,000 or so deer that live in Nara. However, due to financial difficulties in recent years, not only are the deer in need of care, but also the survival of the association is in jeopardy every day. Kiyomi, a deer girl who cannot bear to see their plight, boldly decides to marry a rich man. The man she marries is Yoshihiko, the third son of a long-established Japanese sweets shop.

This is a "story of a deer's marriage" that is rare in the world.
