Synopsis

A winsome woman who loves movies eventually makes a name for herself as a top producer, despite facing a series of harsh realities in the film and television film industry. Centered on the successes and setbacks of the main character, the film also weaves in themes such as love, friendship, and women's advancement in society, depicting people and the film industry from various aspects. It was serialized in "Big Comic FOR LADY" from October 1982 to March 1985. It was written by Masao Yajima.
Keiko Akiniwa was antagonized by her juniors in her university film club because of her dogmatic attitude, but she was more passionate about movies than anyone else. After graduating from college, Keiko found a job at Hinode Eiga Shuppansha, a company that was trying to recover from bankruptcy, and together with Uozumi, a former board member, she set her sights on publishing a film magazine. Keiko then meets Eishin Maruyama, a film director, and learns about the reality of the film industry.
