Miho Sakai, a second-year high school student living in Nerima Ward , was looking for a summer job when she found a poster on the neighborhood bulletin board that read, "Seeking a Hero of Justice, 500 yen per hour." Because it was close to her home, she decided to take part in the "First Hero of Justice Selection Audition" at the Koishikawa Research Institute. Miho perfectly matched the concept of the institute's director, Noboru Koishikawa, that "an ordinary person who can't fly and has no superpowers can become a hero of justice," and she was hired, beating out her classmate, the wealthy Ayano Koji Reika, and others. Wearing a silver powered protector developed by Noboru, Miho began her activities as a "hero of justice," but she found herself facing various incidents involving Reika, who sees Miho as a rival, Noboru's old friend Kyoshiro, and forces that covet Noboru and his research.

Both of the books published only contain up to chapter 4, and the remaining 64 pages from chapter 5 onwards are not included in the collected volumes.
