The story begins when a grandmother, who had been reading light novels recommended by her grandson, is reincarnated as the story’s villainess, Saushuna. In the original plot, the selfish and widely hated Saushuna is destined to be assassinated by poison. While most would struggle to avoid such a bad end, the protagonist—carrying the memories of an 80-year-long life—simply accepts her fate, feeling she has 'already lived long enough.'
