Hirotta no ga Hontoni Neko ka wa Utagawashi

This work is the manga adaptation of the novel by Nekozawa, which won the Grand Prize at the 6th AlphaPolis Light Novel Award. Honda Kaoru, an office worker (OL), discovers her boyfriend of seven years is cheating on her on the same day she finds a cat drenched in the rain.

However, the cat's true identity is that of a bizarre creature that can speak human language, expertly use the human toilet, and even enjoy alcohol. Kaoru names this odd creature "Modoki" and starts living with it. As a result, her bleak daily life gradually begins to change. Updates are scheduled for the second Wednesday of every month.
