Liddy and Freed are finally reunited, and Liddy’s resolve to fully step into her role as the crown prince’s betrothed strengthens along with their bond. Soon, though, new threats–both external and internal–begin stirring in the shadows, including a ghost from Cain’s assassin past who has arrived in Wilhelm to complete a sinister mission.
