Synopsis
A thrilling story of the Zero War battle drawn by Hiroshi Kaizuka, a master artist representing the Showa era.
At the end of the Pacific War, Akagi and five others who were killed in a suicide attack hid in a secret base in the jungle and continued to resist the US military. There, there were five Zero fighters painted red, which were different from normal Zero fighters, and when they sensed a crisis among friendly forces, they would sortie and fight to the death with enemy aircraft. The US military, having trouble dealing with this mysterious unit, finally deploys the latest fighter jet, the P-51 Mustang. Does the Zero Fighter Red Squad have any chance of winning against an enemy boasting overwhelming military strength?
