During the Tianbao period of the Chinese Tang Dynasty, the assassin Li Calyx fought to save the day in the midst of the dynasty's crisis, establishing the Invisible One, the forerunner of the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins, and eventually becoming the master assassin of his generation.
