A man gets bitten on the arm by a jellyfish on a village beach foreign to him. He sets off desperately searching for a doctor who can heal his bleeding veins…

Tsuge's 1st English translated work in Concerned Theatre Japan Vol. 2 #1 as The Stopcock, 1971.

It was published again in The Comics Journal #250, February 2003. A sensational and controversial piece that stunned American audiences when published in TCJ. One of Tsuge's "dream stories".

To be released as the leading one-shot in Volume 3 of the Yoshiharu Tsuge Gekiga Complete Works (April 2023).
