Dennis, the second son of an impoverished feudal lord, suddenly realizes that he shares a consciousness with Masaya, a middle-aged man living on Earth.

Although bewildered, Dennis recognizes that Masaya's modern knowledge could be the key to reviving his territory's failing economy, and he sets out to save his family and his people.

Meanwhile, back in Japan, Masaya loses his job due to an unexpected turn of events. With the help of his junior, Fuyuhiko, he pivots to a new career as a Private Detective.
