Little Forest

The daily life of Ichiko, a young woman who lives alone near a small village called Komori (lit., "Little Forest").

Each chapter features a dish or meal scavenged from the forests and mountains around Ichiko's home

or harvested from fields she cultivates herself.

While there are no wild flights of fancy as in *Witches* or *Hanashippanashi*, the organic artwork and majesty of nature

featured within this short series taps into that same source of magic.
