Yoi Wo Matsu Tsuki No Monogatari
Synopsis
The town where high school student Yohana Sakaki lives is ruled by the Yashiro family, a clan of Kamutsukasa (Shinto priests/officials) who exorcise demons, holding absolute power.
Yohana, who lives with her grandmother after losing her parents, is summoned to a Yashiro family banquet one summer day on the grounds that she is a distant relative. But in the middle of helping out, she accidentally falls into a pond.
The beautiful heir candidate of the Yashiro family appears upon hearing the commotion. He walks toward Yohana and declares, "You are my mate (tsugai)"—and then embraces the female classmate standing behind her.
Yohana is utterly ignored and left bewildered in the pond, looking miserable and soaked like a drowned rat.
However, Chitose, a boy of mysterious beauty, rescues Yohana and shelters her in his own home within the Yashiro compound. Furthermore, Chitose discerns that Yohana possesses god-like power as a Maretbito (a person blessed/cursed with supernatural power).
Yohana is then taken under the protection of the Yashiro family and, with Chitose as her protector (Mamori-te), begins assisting with the sorcerers' work...?
A story of gods, humans, and fated love, presented by Akumi Agitogi of "My Happy Marriage"!
