The Kuyo main family has wielded considerable influence since ancient times through the power of Onmyodo (Japanese esoteric cosmology). Tomonori Goshin, a member of one of its branch families, the Goshin family, is appointed as the next head of the main family, but he has no desire to accept the position and, accompanied by his older sister Shizuru, becomes independent. He attends high school, dreaming of becoming a chef .

However, one day, Hime, claiming to be Tomonori's fiancée, shows up from the Ichinomiya family, one of the branch families. Furthermore, daughters from other branch families are sent one after another to Tomonori to bring him back to the main family and make him the head of the family, and a fierce battle for his hand in marriage ensues.
