Kano Hoki, an ordinary office worker working as a game planner, is fired from his company after his proposal for a new title is rejected. While he is dejectedly reporting the results to his online friends, the words "Final Chapter" suddenly appear on the monitor, along with a horde of monsters—a scene that is just like the game he himself planned!
